When my in-laws in Europe: Belgium

After jalan-jalan London, we went to Brugges using ferry. Very early in the morning around 3.30 am we checked-out from MH and drove to Dover Port. Our ferry supposed to depart at 6am but delayed to 7.30am.. it was a very nice & big ferry not like ferries at Penang  we had our simple english breakfast on board and relax. Journey from Dover to Dunkerque,France took 2 hours. When we arrived at Dunkerque we drove straight away to Brugges. We spent 2 days here.
When we arrived, it was nearly afternoon and we all were very starving. After check-in , the next thing was finding foooodddd  It was kind a strange because almost of the restaurants or shops were close eventhough it was in the middle of the week and obviously still early to close. After pusing-pusing  we found one halal restaurant. Because all of us were very hungry, masing2 mula tamak esp me,Adi and Nina..  order masing-masing punya food, bila sampai huhhh... satu pinggan besar penuh sampai tak larat nak makan...
Brugges is very nice old town. The buildings have unique identity but sadly, they don't really take care somepart of it and it looks mess  (maybe because it was not the peak season yet) .On the first day we just pusing-pusing jalan kaki around the town. It isn't a verry big town, so u can just walk but better hire a bicycle, which u can cover lots of places without termengah-mengah  one more thing that famous is Brugges Lace. U can buy the handmade lace which is very halus but expensive or u can also buy machinemade lace that cheaper.
On second day, after checked-out and breakfast, jalan-jalan lagi. and naik bot tour  forgot how much the tour price but i think 30 min tour for 8 euro. after jalan-jalan sampai lenguh kaki  and after bought lots of buah tangan, we drove to Paris but stopped at Brussels for dinner. Brussels is the capital city for EU. very modern and very memeningkan  in a part of Brussels there is one street that full with seafood restaurants. suasana dia lebih kurang cam 'lorong belakang'. we entered one restaurants and we had big paella.

After dah habis pusing Kota London, we went to Windsor Castle ( kediaman rasmi Queen) and it was our first time too as i mention in my blog, this castle is the oldest castle in the world that still in use (most castle has been abandoned like French or has been moved to a new place like Japan's castle). Not every area in the castle that we can enter, just public are that not include in Queen and Royal Families living area (obviously ) For me, it's quite interesting because Queen still living in this castle and lots of ceremony have been held here. Very recomended for tourist and if u have plenty of time left u can go to Legoland too

When my In-laws in UK

On last 7th March, my mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law were came to UK sempena my SIL abis SPM (syoknye, habis SPM dtg cuti kat UK, aku dulu masuk kelas jahit je.. hari-hari naik bas g chow kit  )
On third day they were here, we went to London. This entry is for 9th and 10th March masa kami pusing-pusing Kota London. In two days, we went to Big Ben, London Eye,Trafalgar Square,Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace,Madame Tussauds,Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
Cuaca sangat teruk... hujan+angin kuat+ sgt sejuk

these pics taken last saturday....tengahhari ade jemputan dari Shashi, Shan, Noorul and Siva... open house for family and friends pekena beriani sama kari ayam,kari kambing, sambal telur ngan sayur... perghhh... sedaaapppppp...siap dpt tapau lagi...tenkiuuuu
petang sikit, g melawat Kak Ati dan Abg Zaidi... derang nak balik msia dah lagi seminggu..ingat nak dtg tolong2 ape2 yang boleh tolong..last2..tolong lepak je...heheh..dapat mee goreng dengan fried chicken wing pulak tu.....terima kasih banyak2 
malam tu pulak ade B&Q Christmas Party. Mkn...eerrrrrrrrr..........oklahhhhh....just clinging around with b&q staff then balik tgk American Gangster kat wayang

[b]Last Sunday we went to Bath sbb nak tengok Bath Christmas Market. Market tu sempena dah dekat nak Krismas ni, omputih2 ni siboklah nak beli hadiah dan decoration.. kami ni tumpang memeriahkan lagi... lots of small wooden stall around Bath Abbey and Roman Bath that sell jewellary, decorations, gifts, foods and drinks and many more. After came back from Bath, we had a roast lamb for dinner..yum..yummm..

Open house & house warming

cuak jugak sbb first time ajak orang datang teratak kami yang comei ni...had to divided to 2 sessons; 11am-2pm for bujangs and 2pm upword for families....bertungkus lumus from friday. friday beli barang2 keperluan tuk open house ni and for home stuff. saturday beli barang jugak lagi and shopping baju baru..kekekek....ptg sabtu tu dah siang kentang, taugeh, blend bahan2 yang nak kena blend sbb mlm tu kerja from 8-12 (kenot amik cuti sbb dah byk kali tak g keje saturday...teeeheeeee)
after balik keje, buat bergedil, nasi impit, laksa, rebus ikan etc sampai kul 3.30...tido jap, kul 5.45 bangun masak kuah soto and laksa.....agak cuak sbb periuk kecik je;takut tak cukup...so guna tektik tambah air,tambah garam bila dah agak2 kurang...kekekeke.....Alhamdulillah,food mencukupi untuk semua kecuali bergedil yang limited edition....
thanx to Syigha, Anis and Na who helping me potong2 bahan tuk tabur2...thanx to Zaki & Mal, for the choc cake...thanx to Shashi,Shan,Siva and Nourul, for the glamor biscuits...thanx to K.Ija & A. Zul, for delicious home made bubur pulut hitam..thanx to girls bristol uni for gave us a house warming present..thanx to Abbas & Jeghui yang dtg dari jauh...and lots and lots of thank you to all yang perabihkan makanan....mintak maaf lah kalau ade kekurangan... |
